Right. LJZ can't decompress .bin. Uncompress that and then zip it if you want that ROM.

Okay while my Shrek 2 is being compressed and saved as AVI for my zod, I decided to write a guide Very Happy

First here are the file types associated with each platform:

Nintendo = .NES
Super Nintendo ROMs = .SMC
Nintendo GameBoy/Color = .GB or .GBC
Sega Genesis = .SMD
NeoGeo Pocket = .NGP or .NPC
Wonderswan = .WS

Filename Trick

1.) Go to http://www.palmgear.com and search for "FileZ" and download it (FREE)
2.) Go download/extract your ROM file for whatever system.
3.) LJZ can read ZIPped ROM files so if it is zipped, you need'nt extract it. Next, add ".pdb" to the end of the ROM file to make it so that you can use the palm desktop installer to hotsync it to your palm.
4.) Use FileZ and move your PDB ROM file to Palm/Programs/LJZ/xxx/ROMS where xxx is the platform.
5.) Use FileZ again to remove the .PDB extension.
6.) Done

I could do a lot better w/ screenshots but my zod is a but busy right now Razz

This thread talks about installing roms to the Z if you still have problems after the last description.

Great! I got the ROMs to work and ditched those .bin files. But, now I have a new problem. I can't get any of my Genesis ROMs to work. SNES, NES, GB files all work well. I tried putting Genesis files into other directories and they showed up there but not in the GENZ folder. Anyone else having this problem?

Well I don't know why, but after I took the card out of slot 2 and put it in slot 1 all my Genesis files appeared! Not only that I successfully loaded and played .bin files. Cool! Life is Good!

You own the games and extrac tthe ROMs out. It is illegal to download ROMs.

thanks. May anybody just spend few minutes to teach people like me step by step how to get the games? I feel so helpless when reading that so many people enjoying LJZ ... except me.

I have loaded LJZ into my SD, but I have no idea how to extract the ROM, or even where to find those games ....
