StarNet GPS size comparison
Introduction
I've been wanting to try out the navigating possibilities of my Zodiac for a while, trying to decide which Bluetooth solution with which to take the plunge. Then I received the press release about a new SDIO GPS module
that I wrote about on May 27th
. I contacted
Stellus Systems
and after a couple of phone calls they provided a StarNet SDIO GPS with Palm OS drivers to me for review for Tapland.
First Impressions
Darn this thing is small. I like the clean design and the fact that they didn't make it a big block like some of the other SD offerings I've seen. Feels pretty solid and....(unintentional drop check) survived its first real-world test.
